Olympus‘ division that develops and manufactures microscopy instrumentation and solutions applicable to scientific development , Olympus Scientific Solutions, is now Evident, but the commitment to providing innovative life science and industrial solutions that help make the world safer and healthier remains unchanged.

Olympus decided that spinning off the Scientific Solution Devision (SSD) business into a subsidiary was the best way to allow SSD to further develop its business. The new organisation will be able to respond to customers more quickly and flexibly.

Evident will continue to market, manufacture and develop all Olympus product lines including microscopes, NDT equipment and XRF analyzers.

All customers will continue to receive the same level of service and support they have come to expect from the company.

Infomed Ltd. continues to be the official distributor of Evident for Bulgaria, and its partnership with the new company remains with the same parameters and scope as with Olympus. All commitments of Infomed EOOD, such as delivery terms, warranty terms, service contracts remain unchanged.

The official documents and markings now contain the Evident logo, and for some time to come the company’s products will bear the Olympus logo.
